RHP models – hydrostatic machines with direct drives
A key feature of the RHP machines is the combination of hydrostatic guideways with linear motor technology in the linear axes. This ensures that they operate very smoothly and with minimal friction.
However, thanks to Roeders’ modern 32 kHz control technology, NANOTOL® technology and other special features, the machining results achieved on RHP machines now differ from those achievable on RPT models in only a few applications; consequently, the high cost of the hydrostatic system is often not justified.
Nevertheless, there are specific applications where the use of RHP machines is appropriate, which is why they are still manufactured today. Roeders’ experienced technicians will be happy to give advice on this matter.
