RXP-Models – 1000 times proven, precise direct-drive machines
The RXP machines are Roeders’ most built series. Although the first RXP machines were introduced as early as 2004, they have been significantly optimised since then. This applies in particular to the numerous precision-enhancing options that continue to make the RXP machines the benchmark for high precision today.
A wide range of machines is available, from the RXP400 to the RXP950, in both 3‑axis and 5‑axis configurations. The RXP machines are particularly attractive due to their price-performance ratio and are therefore as before manufactured in relatively large quantities.

The 5‑axis machines of the RXP series feature outstanding rigidity and, thanks to the minimum mass inertias and high-performance, wear-free direct-drive technology in all axes, offer a highly dynamic performance. The dual-sided strong support of the C‑axis ensures high accuracy during long machining operations and with varying workpiece weights. Roeders relies on optical encoders not only in the linear but also in the rotary axes, resulting in positioning accuracies of 2 arcseconds. Remaining mechanical errors are minimised using Roeders’ special 5‑axis geometry compensation. Of course, all motors in all axes are precisely temperature-controlled to prevent thermal displacement. The swivel direction of the A‑axis is perpendicular to the X‑axis movement for dynamic decoupling.
